Robert Monroe
Robert Monroe is the founder of Redfin Risk Mitigation, Inc. (RRMI), a consulting practice that conducts personal security assessments, seminars, training and presentations. RRMI develops and provides individually-tailored personal security and defensive training to corporate executives, high-net worth individuals, and other potentially at-risk clients, enabling them to detect criminal and terrorist threats to themselves and their families, and to take effective measures to neutralize those threats.
A career Naval Special Warfare officer with over twenty-five years as an active duty Sea-Air-Land (SEAL) operator, Robert retired from the US Navy in 2010. He has served in a number of senior SEAL command positions including as assistant team leader at the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), as a United Nations Military Observer in the Middle East, as planning officer to the Special Operations Command Korea, as an operational plans / Reserve management officer to the Naval Special Warfare Command, and as Pacific area operations officer with a follow on assignment as Navy Reserve Director to the Commander of US Special Operations Command. One of his last assignments in the Navy was as Commodore of Naval Special Warfare Group Eleven, commanding the Navy Reserve SEAL Teams in the United States.
In addition to founding Redfin Risk Mitigation, Inc. in 2013, Robert works as a senior consultant to several Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) corporations providing services to the Department of Defense. Robert also provides business-to-business consultation as a senior Special Operations Forces (SOF) tactical and operational specialist.
A Spanish graduate of Defense Language School, he holds a Business degree from Washington State University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, RI. Robert currently resides in the San Diego area.
